Spatial Magic: Fallen Angel Gate 「空間魔法『堕天使の抜け穴』 Kūkan Mahō "Datenshi no Nukeana"」 is a Spatial Magic spell.
Description[]
With an open grimoire, the user opens their hand as if opening a hole at the direction where the gate should be opened. At that moment, a hole appears and creates a similar hole at the desired location.[1] The user can only create portals to places they have visited beforehand or can actively see.[2][3]
Anything passing through the portal keeps its momentum.[1][4] The portals could also be used to redirect incoming spells back at the caster.[5]
The amount of magic required for a portal depends on the size of the opening, the distance covered, and the duration.[1][6] As such, a series of shorter jumps is less strenuous for travel over great distances but sacrifices speed in covering said distance.[7] Portals are also more difficult to open in areas with dense concentrations of mana.[8][9]
Trivia[]
- Asta and his swords are able to pass through Finral's portals because Asta unconsciously turns off the Anti Magic when passing through them.[10]
